It is truly inspiring to meet young individuals who are so passionate and excited for the future. This young lady, an upcoming 2019 senior, is incredibly inspiring being one of the top 25 under 25 in her home town! If you ever met her, it would be evident why. This girl is going places!

Summer time just screams family fun! This session was exactly that and more. Glen Echo park was the perfect backdrop with its vintage amusement park feel. We had a fantastic time with this session, and I think it shows! Summer carousel sessions now open for booking select dates in July and August.
An anniversary is a special milestone I just love to photograph. This beautiful couple came to Washington DC to celebrate their fifth wedding anniversary! Anniversary sessions with a toddler in tow adds a little something special. Here are some of my favorites (oh those curls!)
We have been blessed with some beautiful weather in DC the past few weeks, and it was the prefect opportunity to take baby P outdoors for her newborn session! The light breeze, greenery, and beautiful blooms made for a perfect setting! Here are some of the highlights.
On a freezing DC morning, I met this beautiful family at the National Portrait Gallery to celebrate their upcoming family addition. It was so much fun exploring the lovely courtyard with this gorgeous mother and her littles. Can't wait to meet the new addition in a few weeks!
I photographed this beautiful family when they were expecting their little girl last year. She was born just a few short days after the session. Now, a year later, (almost to the day!), we celebrated baby J's 1st birthday in the streets of historic Georgetown. It was such a joy watching her explore and take in and the sights and sounds. Happy birthday baby J!

Just beyond the new developments on Rockville Pike, lays a tradition that has been around for generations. Every year a trailer parks at St. Elizabeth, trees are set up in magical rows, and the air is filled with joy and cheer.
Chesapeake Trees is a family business that has been serving the community for over 30 years. When I spoke with the owner about what this business means to him, the word was "Tradition". When talking about how families gather around these trees in their homes, he beamed.
Every year the whole family participates in the process. From planting, to cutting the perfect trees, to hand decorating wreaths, everyone is bustling working together to make the magic happen.
This year is exceptionally special; this year a family tradition is passed on, and daughter Kim and her family will take over the business. A business that has been a part of most of her life, and if you meet her you will see that same passion, joy, and care that shines through her father's eyes.

Its that time of year, filled with well wishes and cheer. The past 12 months have been bustling with fun families, beautiful babies, and loving couples. From newborns to weddings and all the milestones and stages in between, I am so grateful for all the wonderful people I've connected with this year.

On a sunny October afternoon, I was fortunate enough to capture Stefanie and Pat's intimate wedding ceremony. They became husband and wife in the same church her parents did. From the moment you walked in you could feel the love and excitement. Here are some highlights of a beautiful ceremony on a beautiful day.
I was so honored to capture Thea and Kenny's wedding. On a chilly spring afternoon, the couple shared their love for each other with their closest family. The emotions of the day were so profound, and the love expressed so deep. As her father officiated the wedding and the couple recited their heartfelt vows, there was not a dry eye in sight. There was also laughter, joy, and all that makes life truly beautiful. Congratulations Thea and Kenny!
