I had the pleasure of photographing baby G's cake smash on his actual birthday! This was such a fun fun session filled with personal touches. Favorite toys make special appearances (hey Elmo!), and his beautiful mama picked out the perfect outfit and party hat!

This sweet little girl was such a dream. Although she was almost 5 weeks old, which a little older than the newborns I usually photograph, once she fell asleep she was so peaceful. Here are some of the highlights. Congrats again to her lovely family!
I had the pleasure of photographing this awesome couple yesterday with their sweet dog. Unfortunately, doggie is having some health issues, but you would never know it if you met him! He is so much fun and so so loving! With a baby on the way, this was the perfect time to capture some wonderful moments on a perfect DC day.

We all swoon over sleepy dreamy newborn photos. But there is something to be said for capturing real authentic moments like these. Parents can look back at this photo 10 years from now and smile at how much their child has changed (or maybe not much 😜). How much they have grown, how their communication and personality have evolved. Treasure these moments too, they are only this little for so little 😊
Baby Boy C. is due any day now! His beautiful mama is absolutely glowing. She also happens to be extremely talented. Those of us who live in the DC area know how tricky small spaces can be to decorate, let alone create new space within your home! But baby C.'s parents did just that. Being the amazing architects they are came in handy when redesigning their space, and the result is simply unbelievable! I'll share some of the beautiful and creative details from this cozy 6' by 7' ish nursery.
I absolutely love the color palette of this room. It flows seamlessly with the nursery.
38 weeks and glowing!
Every little detail was so well thought out in this nursery.
A spanish hymn hangs above the crib written so beautifully by baby's grandmother.
Mom made these hanging ornaments by hand, and they perfectly match the chair on the other side of the room.
How cute is this design mom came up with for the closet door! Looks like giraffe is just under 1' tall.
Inside the closet is just as sweet! I especially love those drawers!
I'm sure mom and baby will have some very precious moments in this special little space. By the way, that basket of books doubles as a foot rest. Genius!
